Apricot Garden Aprigold (Prunus armeniaca Garden Aprigold)
A dwarf, patio apricot producing white flowers in early spring. Large, sweet and juicy, golden-yellow apricots are produced in late summer. Self fertile. Height 1m. Needs full sun. May be grown in a container. Best kept in a cool greenhouse from February to May.
Apricot Tomcot (Torinel) (Prunus armeniaca Tomcot)
A very reliable variety producing large fruit with a red blush on an orange background. An intense apricot flavour. Torinel rootstock - height 4m. Self-fertile. Pick in late July. Grows best in a sunny, sheltered site in a deep, chalky soil. Can be trained against a wall, or grown in a pot.
